The tiger bulletin board is cut from luan plywood and covered with furry animal print fabric! Over her bed, it makes a real statement! It is "standing" on the back of her bed in this picture, but was later mounted on the wall behind the bed. Her Mom told me she liked it so much she decided against using it to pin notes to! LOL! Note the "before" blue bedroom, now transformed with a red wall and two-toned tans on the other three walls. The border paper is used as wainscotting and as border at the ceiling. Note the blue sky ceiling, adding to the jungle feeling. Greenery above the newly painted bookcases add more jungle to this teen's room. An entirely new look! Clutter free and exotic! Here is a dining room makeover. It initially held a lone china cabinet. Period. We worked on adding a wonderful old desk, and the hutch. Below is a picture of the client trying out lamps. We worked on getting the right lamp and mapped out the placement of mirrors and prints. Next came the accessories and a chair. A process of trial and moving elements around and we had a very welcoming room! A dining table and bench seats are on order. They are to scale and will allow gracious dining. Uplights give this room a warm and cozy feel. It is now both a dining room and a quiet place to curl up with a good book! Visitors entering through the foyer have to peek in and smile! A dramatic "before and after". |

I wish I could publish all the "Decor Doc" Home Decorating projects I have done with clients, but I do respect my clients wishes and so many I work with want to keep the "oohs" and "aahhs" for themselves. I do not blame them one bit, as they have worked hard and deserve the compliments. All I can say is that the happy final emails I get are my personal treasure! I have made some great "cyber friends"! And if photos of final results are sent, then I rejoice. Some photos are on this website. It makes me feel good!!! Note: Some people prefer to mail checks rather than send payment through PayPal.
