It is hard to talk about myself. But you need
to know that I am known for my creative problem solving approach to
decorating. I love challenges! The most fun is when a client presents
me with an "impossible" situation to solve! A favorite was
"the paladium window solution", as it became known. SHE wanted
an open, sunny, window for the view. HE wanted sunlight blocked at certain
times to protect his PC. There is no such thing as a fan-shaped shade
that can be opened, so.....I designed a pop in/out two piece opaque
screen, painted to match the woodwork, with a mural on it to go with
existing art in the room. BOTH are happy! This is also an idea for "Decor
Doc". With instructions, you could do this yourself.
Basically, I am a decorator who specializes
in faux painting of walls, furniture, and anything else you want. I
do murals, garden rooms, accessorizing, painted furniture, silk arrangements,
landscape ideas, choosing new pieces, consulting, and whole house decorating.

For those who may not know: "faux" means "false"....a
surface painted to look like something else, such as marble, stone,
fresco, etc. A fun technique that I love doing. This can also be done
by you with my instructions and a bit of talent.
